Okay, my first on line project I'm going to try and work on will be the
offset modified of Charlie Jarzombek's #1 36 Chevy. I will do my best to give
you step by steps as I go along. If your not clear on something I did, or if you
have any comment other than "give it up Fred" I will be glad to listen. I hope
we can all have some fun with this! Thanks, Fred

Chassis Mods
The first thing I did here is make cuts to prepare for the offset. The original is on the left. |

Chassis Mods
A closer view. I will also need to cut the transmission brace and make new motor mounts. |

Body Mods
This is optional, as I know not everyone will have as many kits lying around as I do, but I want to take the front cowl section off of this stock AMT 37 Chevy and graft it to the 36 Chevy modified body. |

Body Mods
Here's what we have so far. The cowl will also help support the window as this is an asphalt car. I've also added some wheel flares with plastic card stock. |

Mock Up
Just thought I'd drop the body on something to see how it looks. It also keeps me fired up like I'm building the real thing! |

Mock Up
Looks pretty good to me, I may have to mold this body. I need to mention here that I also wollered out the rear side windows to closer resemble his car. |

Mock Up
Yeah, I will have to mold this body because on th real car Charlie didn't have the hood lip on the cowl for a stock hood. I'll mold it first so you guys can either cut it off or leave it on. |
